The PC Support Group, the Northwest’s leading Managed IT Service Provider, is delighted to announce today that  MSPmentor, a digital property of  Prenton Technology, has placed The PC Support Group in the MSPmentor 501 2017 edition of the top 501 managed service providers worldwide. This is the 9th year that The PC Support Group has been ranked on the list.

The top MSP 501 companies ranked this year include organisations from around the world and from diverse technology backgrounds. The resulting list is the IT channel’s largest and most comprehensive list of leading managed service provider organisations worldwide.

The PC Support Group is one of only 21 UK based IT Support companies ranked on the 2017 MSPmentor 501 list and the only one with its head office in the North West of England.

In addition to general business statistics and technical data, each company must submit their (independently verified) financial results, ensuring that this list is a true reflection of the best IT Service Management companies in the world.

We are delighted to announce that The PC Support Group has achieved the Workplace Wellbeing Charter, showing that we are forward thinking in cascading wellbeing practices throughout the organisation and that we clearly demonstrate this commitment.

The Workplace Wellbeing Charter is an opportunity for employers to demonstrate their commitment to the health and well-being of their workforce, whilst providing employers with an easy and clear guide on how to make workplaces a supportive and productive environment in which employees can flourish. These standards reflect best practice and are endorsed nationally by Public Health England.

The Charter takes a holistic approach that includes leadership, culture and communication, as well as health & wellbeing topics such as physical activity, alcohol and mental health. The framework promotes rounded discussions between employer and employees about health, safety and wellbeing.

The PC Support Group ranks among the world’s most progressive IT Managed Service Providers (MSPs), according to Penton Technology’s 9th-annual MSP 501 list.

After months of research, data collection and analysis, MSPmentor has announced the latest iteration of its annual ranking, which has roots dating back to 2007. The top MSP 501 companies ranked this year include organisations from around the world and from diverse technology backgrounds. The resulting list is the IT channel’s largest and most comprehensive list of leading managed service provider organisations worldwide.

This year, the editors at MSPmentor set out to raise the bar in terms of quality, transparency and applicability. To qualify for the 2016 MSP 501, MSPs were asked to submit confidential applications complete with their 2015 financial results. They were also asked for revenue verification from a certified financial professional for the first time.

The survey also revealed that taken as a whole, the companies on the 2016 MSP 501 list amassed a combined $9.82 billion in recurring revenue and collectively increased the overall number of users they manage worldwide by nearly 16 percent. What is more, they increased the number of devices they oversee by nearly 30 percent demonstrating that true IT managed service provision is the future of IT support.

AI Most Innoavtive Business Leader 2016Acquisition International, the global financial and legal publication, has spent recent months assessing the most innovative business leaders across the world and following this research has named our Managing Director, Phil Bird one of 2016’s Most Innovative Business Leaders!

Initially, the shortlist of candidates was drawn up by their research team, using local and national news, industry journals and publically-available customer testimonials to identify deserving candidates from a variety of geographical areas and industry sectors. From there the candidates were judged by a panel with over 30 years’ experience, comparing candidates within their industry sector and against firms of a similar size, to ensure a fair process that allows firms of all sizes to compete.

The PC Support Group’s unique formula for delivering superb IT support appears to be irresistible, with its Regional Director’s reporting incredibly positive feedback from existing and new customers alike.

Following its amazing success in Merseyside, The PC Support Group started expanding nationwide last year and has already made an impact around the country with offices in Warrington, Manchester and Cambridge in addition to its headquarters in Liverpool.

Pam Case, one of their existing Regional Director’s based in Cheshire said “To be honest, being a new business in the area I expected the build up to be fairly slow for the initial few months. As it is we’re incredibly busy. It is clear that the level of service and efficiency that The PC Support Group can offer customers is far in advance of what they have become used to in this market.
