Award Joy for The PC Support Group – Warrington

Regional Director for The PC Support Group (Warrington) office, Pam Case is celebrating after being named Businesswoman of the Year at the inaugural St Helens Women in Business Awards.

The Warrington office services more than 300 business and home computer users across Warrington, St Helens and North Cheshire and was also shortlisted for Business of the Year.

Sandy Lindsay, who presented the award, had this to say of Pam “She is always happy to help others and shows excellent customer care skills within her business role. She is passionate about her work and is continuing to build a very successful business”.

Pam said: “There were some inspiring and highly successful women on the shortlist so I’m obviously honoured to receive this award. It is marvellous for us all that St Helens Women in Business has created this platform which acknowledges our hard work and the contribution we make to the local economy. I’d also like to thank the Women in Business group for the support it has provided since I set up the company.”

The Businesswoman of the Year category was open to all businesswomen, both employed and self-employed, either living or working in the St Helens area. Pam was praised for leading by example, showing exceptional vision and achieving significant success.

Prior to running The PC Support Group (Warrington), Pam enjoyed a successful career in marketing and communications for a number of household names, including Littlewoods’ Index catalogue. She is currently Halton Chamber of Commerce’s Networker of the Year.

She added: “Many of our customers are small and medium-sized businesses and an important part of helping them through the recession has been to provide reliable IT support, which is crucial for their day-to-day activities.”
